So many have lost habitat and been hunted where their numbers are really low. I remember when we had alot of quail here in the Arkansas... They are gone too now.

We used to live in a development called Pheasant Run. The Pheasants would glide from front yard right over the roof top to the back yard, helicopter style. Since we moved, haven't seen a pheasant since. Timely Haiku. Love, daver
