Logan's Poem To Mom

My mom has tried from the start
my mom she has a giant heart.
She did a good job to raise me
right since I was a little tyke.

She said she will never give up
the fight and, keep on trying with
all her might to save me from my
              destructive life.

I would be out all night running
the streets, doing things I knew
              weren't right getting in trouble,
              getting in fights.

She wanted me home, she wanted
me safe, and she was always making
              me something delicious to eat.

I didn't care that I was breaking her
heart or, that my delinquent ways
              were tearing her apart.

Well I was finally arrested and ended
up in jail, I am now stuck in this place
and I tell you it's hell.

Now I see all the bad and, stupid
things that I've done but, I had no
remorse then I thought it was fun.

I am now sorry for the things that
I have done, now I want to be a
              better person, a better son.

Even though I am stuck in this
place, when I think of my mom
it puts a smile on my face.

Now the only person who is still
on my side and, who's still got my
back is my sweet, big hearted mom,
              imagine that.
