To be sure, this whole situation is horribly upsetting... In the Chicago area, only 10 mourners are permitted. Ridiculous! It's outside, and people can easily socially distance... A pox on draconian politicians who make these rules. Wait til it happens to them. They'll have hundreds of mourners and then say, 'Oh, we misbehaved... #$%$#$%... Congrats on your win in the contest, Jan! :) gw

This is so sad. We wanted to be with my brother when his wife died just before Christmas, but Floridians are not permitted to travel to NJ because of the pandemic. I guess some people are using "zoom" for this :( Hugs, Carolyn

So sad. When you can't even go to your relatives funeral, even your parents, that's going too far. Great job here Jan. A winner for sure. God Bless, JB

Jan......touching this one is! My cousins wife was cremated and he has to keep the urn at home. Times will change when the true number of deaths come out. People will be very angry then. Pangie

i've had many get-togethers on zoom, but i hope i don't have to be part of a zoom funeral. well-said, jan, but so sad...

Thanks Ilene, with the travel restrictions here and lock down in the UK many couldn't attend so zoom was used in several funerals we went to. Now with covid in the community there is a limit of 10 people so i imagine it will be used more and more:-( hugs Jan xx

A camera is set up so that people who cant go to the funeral can see it live on line... so many funerals are restricted in number now ... until recently we had no restrictions now it is ten people:-( hugs jan xx

We have been so lucky here and were able to attend funerals with no restrictions last year... now we have the virus in the community it is limited to ten people:-) hugs jan xx
