Lockdown At Home

Stuck indoors for months on end
Staring at four walls going around the bend
My mental health was beginning to suffer
Hiding my feelings from all the others

My life was changing day by day
I really did not want it to be this way
I knew I needed to find a distraction
So, I set aside a plan of action

I started to lose all sense of reality
Not knowing what day, it was losing my sanity
Reaching out for that one thing to do
To help me carry on and find my way through

I have learnt to appreciate what life is about
Do not be afraid to scream and shout
Try not to hide your thoughts and fears
Its ok to not be ok and shed some tears
