Living the dream
Dreams in my head won’t go away
But they also can’t stay
As they distract me
From today
So I’ll anchor
Myself to present day
Pulling forward tomorrow
To see right now in a new way
Rethinking my view to recognize
What I've been searching for
May already exist and be
Waiting at my door
Took some time
To reframe my mind
For me to gain awareness
Of spots that used to be blind
