Living the Dream

I woke today in a lovely place
I look over and see your peaceful face
Got out of bed on two strong feet
Went to the kitchen found plenty to eat

Petted the cat she's swaying her tail
Read the newspaper and sorted my mail
Got good warm heat its chilly outside
Good morning sunshine is rushing inside

I realize as I start dressing
This life I'm living is a wonderful blessing
I've got my mind, my health and plenty to do
But best of all I'm in love with you
