Notes About The Poem

Living Light

Our
yearning
to expand
has origins
in our memory,
remembering our soul,
as one with God-consciousness.
Thus, feeling discontent, we strive
to become once again, living light.

True, our disconnect with God is due to our inherent sin, that makes us search for a true relationship with Him, US:)

Sin as in misalignment? We misalign from love (owing to delusion), then recognise our error and correct course. Sin is a strong word, associated with guilt, contracting heart, scarring innocence. Still, I do recognise that sin is a widely taught concept in Christianity as also other religions and spiritual paths and respect it’s offered usefulness.
