Living Dreams

Living Dreams

The night before a year had past
From last it was right now
A vision with closed eyes sprang an unfulfilled surpise
And left me wondering how
I didn't know what day it was
But you must have because
You came and found me weeping

And in this dream, I knew it you
Your presence I could feel
Joyously depressed, outgoingly repressed
Know in my heart it was real
But alas, I shook awake
Nary that we spake
A word, our word for keeping

Found what we weren't looking for
One another, so much more
Was it after, or before?
Until we know what lies in store
Keep sleeping
