Living a Lie
He says " I love you"...
I answer back the same.
He says " Your so beautiful"...
I just turn away.
He says " I'm so glad we're together"...
I know it's a lie.
He says " There is no one else for me"...
I wonder why he never touches me anymore.
He says " It's no one" when his phone frequently rings.
I wonder why he makes up so many silly excuses?
He says " There's no one I want except you"...
I know a fifteen minute trip to the store shouldn't take an hour and a half...
He says " I love to hold you"...
I can't understand why he moves away in bed if I touch him.
He says " I love spending time with you"...
I wonder why he is always either on his computer...
or watching tv for hours on end.
He tells me nothing is wrong...
but in my heart...I know it's a lie...
That's why I'm so empty inside.
