Living

All through life you have to work- to earn your keep.
To put food on the table- and have a place to sleep.
Having clothes on your back- and all the necessities too.
Keeping your head above water- trying not to be blue.

You meet many people- while trying to make a living.
Are they mean and nasty- or caring and giving?
If you have a job- you are blessed beyond measure.
The Homeless would trade places with you- for this simple treasure.

Keep all of this in mind- as you travel down life's road.
Put a smile upon your face- and ease someone else's load.
Try to do to others- what you want done to you.
Let Peace, Love and Happiness- for all to ensue!!
