Lives Matter
All the lives from the past
The stories they've shared, continue to last
The wonderful ones that had a voice
The silent ones that had no choice
Each had a way of living their dream
Line by line, scene by scene
The imagination would continue to flow
Back to happier times they would go
Eyes sparkling with each new word
Such a pleasure knowing they would be heard
Perhaps just the gentle squeeze of the hand
Your healing presence they understand
Knowing their lives had meaning and a place
Sharing their stories in their own space
Whether through sound or silence it seemed so surreal
We can make a difference........
That's how you make them feel
So honor each one......give them your time
This "Healing Presence" of yours and mine
