Inspired by characters in a show and many people I've known. Live your life for you. We can't suppress our dreams and aspirations for others, no matter how well-meaning the intentions.
Live your life for you

Have you done it?
Lived your life for someone else?
Or for a whole family?
Friends or teammates or mentors?
Whatever we commit to
It's great to give our best
But we need to be mindful of ourselves
And if we're suppressing our own quests
Don't forget about your dreams
Don't forget what's in your heart
No one can give back the time you lose
If you put things on autopilot
Live your life for you
Because you only have one life to live
And if you realise your dreams too late
You could be way too far off course
Take time to find what you're looking for
Take time to know your inner soul
Because when you look back at it
Your life's purpose needs to be your goal
