Live Through This Pain

Some days are good and some are bad 
My happy memories have all turned sad
I try doing this then doing that
Then my mind goes rushing back 

I’m trying to live through this pain 
Every second of every day 
Even the sunshine feels like rain 
I’m trying to live through this pain 

I know you want the best for me
But that won’t get me through this grief 
Every night I’m on my knees
Praying the Lord will hear my plea

Please help me live through this pain 
Love is great yet it’s to blame 
Dry my tears when I hear your name 
Please help me live through this pain 

I hope that I make you proud 
When I’m looking up you’re looking down 
I’ve learned that silence is a sound
I wander lost and pray I’m found 

I’m learning to live through this pain 
Over the years the tears may fade
Years may pass but it feels like days
I’m learning to live through this pain

Put a smile back on my face
I hope you’re not ashamed 
Help me live through this pain
