Live Just For Me
It's quiet today
My mind is not screaming.
I've not given up
I've only stopped dreaming.
For too many years
And too many days
I lived just for you
I'm changing my ways.
I'm going to laugh.
And I'm going to sing.
I'll live just for me
My heart's taken wing.
The sky is so blue,
no clouds over me.
I feel so happy
And I feel so free.
I've love in my heart
For someone who's true.
You had your chance
I had that for you.
But you weren't ready
You wanted to run.
Now I realize
You're just not the one.
So now that I'm wiser
And happy again
I'm free to be me
I'm glad that you ran.
