Live For Him
He was born a prince, in the dungeon of humour
Targeted and hunted by evil hunters
He was rescued thought the help of the great porter
Just because of the burden he was moulded to carry.
He grew in knowledge and virtue in the temple
Teaching and shocking the elders with his wisdom
He was nurtured with the milk of love and purity
Just to make him equipped to deliver.
He went to the apex of trials and training
Where he was humbled to receive more fuel to burn
He was tempted and tried by the fallen serpent
Just to make him fall short of his glory.
He went about with seed of compassion
Reviving and strengthening the dried bones
Even the lost sheep he fond and brought home
Just to redeem all from the slave masters.
He was bruise and crushed for our faults.
Despised and forsaken on the cross.
Imprisoned and scaled in the dust.
Just to save us from the law of chaos.
He arose from the pit of pains and pressure
After conquering the wicked warder of life’s prison
He loosed the gates and chains of death
Just to give us live eternal.
This is the blessedness of our earthly story
A prince was slain to give us a crown a glory
He arose again to give us the golden victory
Wouldn’t we rather strive just to live for him.
