Live Any Other Way

Bright colors purples, 
oranges with gold
Float on clouds up in 
the evenings sky
Brings a warmth taking 
away my cold
Along with unanswered 
questions "why"

Birds cry out in natures 
budding trees
The crickets will chime 
into this choir
If magnificent 
beauty I see
This sight I swear I 
would never tire

As long as beauty 
I see I feel
Life will some day 
again be alright
Fate not to be
predetermined or sealed
If I can see a 
distant white light

Then if a happiness 
I never find
I'll at least go through 
life being ok
See still my heart and 
soul will be kind
Life no one should live
any other way
