Live a Life

What is it that you want
What am i supposed to do
The sounds of pain and sadness
When i speak to you
The grinding of the bones
and the tearing of the flesh
The empty room of a soul
thrown out with the rest
Looking through eyes of darkness
Its a shame they're so transfixed
Blocking out any goodness
Wondering why it's missed
The sun can still shine on your face
but not in your darkened room
it's seems you like your torture chamber
Never leaving seems much to soon
I don't think i will ever understand it
Even in my moments of pain
Screaming for help so loudly
but so comfortably in vain
I hope you can find the latter
If you listen you just may see
Swimming in a pool of hatred
Is nowhere life can be
The poison you swallow is thick
and cuts you open like a rusty knife
I pray someday you'll be rid of it
so you can finally Live A Life.

Thank you very much. Its very new to me. I just have a lot on my mind and hope that this will help rid me of it. Im glad you think its good. I wanted to see what other poets thought. Im just a guy, trying my hand at this for the first time.
