Little Star

Oh little star of Bethlehem
A miracle on its own
Did you watch the King of Kings
Leave His Heavenly throne?

The One who hung you in the sky
To shine the brightest light
To lead the kings and wise men
Where He would be that night

When you sat above the manger
You couldn't look away
For such a sight had never been seen
That very first Christmas day

The envy of all the other stars
That wanted to take your place
But God chose you to shine the light
Upon the Savior's face

Oh little star of Bethlehem
That shone above the earth
You're told in every story
About the Savior's birth

Outstanding, Larry. Beautifully written. Haven't been able to read much on PS the last 4 months or so due to my wifes illness. Hope all is well with you and your family. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, my friend. God bless. Ralph
