Little Landon

For my little boy Wild eyes, damp forehead one chase then broken my vase - not your limbs. Wheels flash, height, open, one blink - you have taken a plunge in the pool. Legs scabby, undaunted galloping, stomping our dog is your horse. Heros, villains, world's conquered exploring, advancing you're the king of your land. Hands sticky with wonder jumping over the oceans you pause just to tell me - I am still your queen.

Thank you Pandita. My little boy is 6 and the apple of my eye. I wanted to express how full of energy, imagination and wonder he and his life is. As moms we get to witness our babies turn into these awesome and unique individuals.

I love this poem - it reminds me of my own two boys who are now quite grown but the fond memories of times like these are so much with me. Thanks for sharing!
