Little Heart String

* to the tune of Darryl Braithwaite's beautiful timeless tune, On The Horses * ... You've been pulled... Further than you should Many painful times before ... You warned me then.... You did not have the strength To keep one piece for me - But, Heart, I want you - To return to one Wrap yourself back up Can you hear my song (Chorus) That's the way for you and me, oh, Little Heart String We're forever gonna be hurting (yeah yeah) ... Forever and a day, Little Heart String You were cut, and I resist To feel the beat, of true love bliss .... What we need.... Is fresh relief To take away the memories - And I will find - New peace of mind When you allow me to (bridge) Can you help me Mould a simple piece? Fix the bits back up To give us both some release (Chorus) Sew your pieces in repair ah, Little Heart String You've been torn away from me Too long yeah - eeaaahh Now it's time to let you know oh, Little Heart String I'm desperate, to get you back ... where you need to be, attached .... You have tried To pump pump the love Flow it right in to my head Then broken came Things were never the same... I need your faith again Heart String, hear me I'm making future plans But without your help I don't know if I can (last Chorus) Say you'll mend the shattered pieces, Little Heart String Say you'll put me in the picture, with the rest of them I'm willing to dive in, Little Heart String I promise I'll let you find you legs ... find your legs Gallop your own song, Little Heart String I promise I'll grant your freedom (yeah yeah) Hooves hitting wet beaches, mane streaming Wild is where you long to live (fade) This chance you give Is our life fixed 29th August 2020

I’m new at commenting on lyrics, tho read some every day. Was captivated by your subject/ title image. Power and softness in it. As music seems it must be your very pulse. Thanks for posting. (And for your nice comment re my falcon piece. Haven’t figured how to comment on comments...
