Little Guy

Daddy, Daddy Can we watch a movie? The one you let me watch When it was just you and me Well I’d let you watch ‘Scream’ again If you’d promise you won’t tell people You’re gonna gut them like a fish My little warrior princess With boiling anger You can’t conquer Wise beyond your years You’ve learned from you tears This world you live in isn’t fair, is it? I love to watch you grow into your potential To watch you think and create You’ve learned it’s a hard road To walk against the norm I’m so proud You believe in yourself no matter what You don’t care what they think about you This is your life You’re gonna live it Never afraid to be who you are You’re my little Jamie But I could possibly Be talking about me Me myself and I You’re my little guy I still can’t believe how much you’re like me I watch you replicate me You’re loud You’re sarcastic But you’re fantastic Insensitive and rude With insurmountable attitude There’s no mistaking You’re my rude little dude
