Little Girls Talk With Jesus

Little Girls Talk With Jesus

A little girl
had gone to bed.
She began to,
cry then she said,

"Jesus, why did you
take mama away?
I miss her so bad
each and every day."

"She's not here,
to comb my hair,
to sing to me
when I am scared."

"She's not here
to wipe away my tears,
can't kiss my booboo,
when I get hurt here."

Jesus said, "Child, Mama
was so very sick,
her meds for cancer
wouldn't do the trick."

"I made sure an angel
carried her up above,
wanted Me to tell you
she sends you her love."

"To let Me be the one
to mend your heart,
to stop your tears,
before they start."

"I'll keep you safe
from all harm,
even under the
moon and stars."

"Jesus will walk beside
you, each step of the way,
to let you know, she will
be able to see you some day."

"Jesus, please tell
her I love her, too,
with her gone, it's
broke my heart in two."

She finally had
fallen asleep.
until her alarm
did go beep.
