Little Girl In the Window

Am I even real?
Perhaps I'm just a
mannequin
A statue of many
identities
Just none of her own
Dress me up
Or dress me down
Underneath it
all;nothing is real
But a frail frame
With no good fortune
Take me apart
Tear out my heart
Shove me in the back
of the closet
Till I'm needed
again..

Such a sad feeling over this poem............Loneliness fully exposed. I like it! Thank you for sharing it.
