Little Girl

Little girl, little girl
Why so blue?
Don’t you realize
That God loves you!!

Little girl, little girl
I know you been through
I know you had a rough life
And felt no one cared for you

Little girl, little girl
You don’t have to search for love
Don’t date little boys who ain’t worth your time
They tend to treat us like little toys

Little girl, little girl
The Lord always loved you
He loves you so much
He died for you

Little girl, little girl
Know this is true
I understand how it is
To be in your shoes

Little girl, little girl
You just want to be free
Just know where God’s Spirit is
There is liberty

Little girl, little girl
You feel like you need to escape
Just know that people adore you
Just know that you too blessed to stay blue

Little girl, little girl
Your best escape is through the Word of God
God’s Word will free your mind the rest will follow
And it helps to have a music player or an iPod

Little girl, little girl
Your turnaround is right around the corner
Don’t get weary in doing well
Don’t give up during your test-after it you will have a testimony to tell
