Little Girl

Hey Little Girl, do you know what's going on?
Your tongue is tied,
And your little white lies have turned us to stone.

You're not the girl I remember,
with your eyes unlit,
without the embers.
They blew out along with your heart and soul.

Life's too overrated,
and you gave up just in spite.
In spite of yourself and the pain you go through.
