Little By Little
5/20/16
Thistles with bristles
Grow then whittle
Little by little
Near and far from quartz crystals
As well as waters with ripples
Where the fish bite and nibble
While the wind whistles
On sunny days and during a drizzle
Thinking about what is beneficial
So that my income can triple
I never once said it would be simple
And always knew there'd be unexpected riddles
Which is why it's better to stay nimble
Then to dwindle and be uncivil
My spirit went through many collisions
Then had risen
More and more driven
Combined with better decisions
Knowledge was given
And reciprocated, with truth and wisdom
But not always did both parties listen
The same could be said for those always stuck in division
An extreme magnetism
Emanating below the world's most powerful mechanisms
And so many other living organisms
Sometimes I wonder if anything I have written
Painted a clear enough description
Underneath skies that are blue and crimson
Everybody seems to believe or not in religion
As well as superstitions
Which is the basic definition
Of an opinion
