Little Boy Blue

Pale flower, tuber of the mother,
Unfathered but by stony hard ungiving,
Every petal leaf down droops with rain,
Not quite living.

Frail power, yet each of three
By two is bound,
Unable to forgive the others' pain
Unable to be forgiven.
