Listen

LISTEN

The anger within
Is my sin
Impulsive behavior
Who is my savior?

I am in a rage
Trapped in a cage
Listen with a sensitive heart
Before from this earth I depart

I took them for granted
With a mind so slanted
Forgot about their pain
Lost sight of the love I may never regain

I hurt them to the core
I violated family lore
Look into their eyes
And realize

Guilt is the heavy weight
Is it too late?
Shall I wait at hell’s gate?
Will I know my fate?

This rage and anger I must stop
Before I drop
It cannot be my way all the way
This is it at the end of the day
