Lion In Dove's Clothing
Be vigilant, my beautiful friend
Love me continually until the end
My precious dove, my love
Our love is from heaven above
Our love is from heaven above, despite the hardships
Ambitious to start anew and start to kiss your lips
I long to belong,
So I wrote this song
I lay my head down in utter shame
Cuz you’re not here with me tonight
Be my dawn of gracious, glorious game
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing this wondrous night
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing with all your might
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing, so much out of sight
I lost all delight
With my might
I didn’t want to fight
You always think you’re right
Accept me for who I am
And who I’ll become
Some people don’t give a damn
If I feel numb or dumb
Elegant moon shimmers extremely bright still
I want to feel your love as we walk up this hill
Our love is from heaven above, despite the hardships
Ambitious to start anew and start to kiss your lips
I long to belong,
So I wrote this song
I lay my head down in utter shame
Cuz you’re not here with me tonight
Be my dawn of gracious, glorious game
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing this wondrous night
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing with all your might
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing, so much out of sight
I lost all delight
With my might
I didn’t want to fight
You always think you’re right
I want automatic acceptance,
Not this world’s rejectance
Acknowledge me, even in hardships
Ambitious to start anew and kiss your lips
Elegant moon shimmers so bright
I want to feel your undying love all night
I have accumulated this anger for so long
I long to belong, so I wrote this strong, unwrong song
Our love is from heaven above, despite the hardships
Ambitious to start anew and start to kiss your lips
I long to belong,
So I wrote this song
I lay my head down in utter shame
Cuz you’re not here with me tonight
Be my dawn of gracious, glorious game
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing this wondrous night
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing with all your might
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing, so much out of sight
I lost all delight
With my might
I didn’t want to fight
You always think you’re right
Our love is from heaven above, despite the hardships
Ambitious to start anew and start to kiss your lips
I long to belong,
So I wrote this song
I lay my head down in utter shame
Cuz you’re not here with me tonight
Be my dawn of gracious, glorious game
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing this wondrous night
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing with all your might
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing, so much out of sight
I lost all delight
With my might
I didn’t want to fight
You always think you’re right
But, you’re wrong from the start
You hurt me to the core and even my heart
Is shattering into shards of useless pieces
Now, you put my whole life in dire stitches
You’re a lion in dove’s clothing
I am loving you, despite your loathing
