Notes About The Poem

Links and Winks

Meditate while quietly humming a love song Colors of love are added on top and are strong Strive to straighten out the twisted lost links An unlocked door awaits you; just buy drinks. Draw in and don't leave until the conclusion A breeze that was bringing a feeling of sorrow Wet and fragrant, the sadness of tears On the sites, we hugged to dispel fears. Lilies picked from yards, bold snake unless The effort to earn peace is a benign progress In the pandemonium, it is veiled, so soon success It can live by sucking life and smiling in distress. Silence and havoc, dying in the process when peace comes and the fighting is over A huge blast of fireworks will cover Akin to a rain of stars, sparks will scatter. And, like many lost lives, will fade away Each explosion should remind humanity of mankind's exquisite fragility. Resting under the willow moon Our lost souls long for rebirth and swoon We have paid all our debts to the devil Only crystal tears remain on a different level. We will endure until the situation changes We will relive under the healing sun's range.

Love this Carpe Diem Sotto, when the war ends “Akin to a rain of stars, sparks will scatter” ~ a beautiful line to represent those who’ve lost their lives… Blessings, Belle

Silence and havoc, dying in the process when peace comes and the fighting is over..sometimes over, at least reduced to calm. God bless you, Lasaad!
