Lingers

Listen to poem:
It began with green eyes Hair that blew redness That lingered from somebody else, A smile that gave rise to a sun Cheeks that gave the moon its glow, That lingered on somebody else, Laughter that was undeniable, Words that were so memorable, That lingered in somebody else, Until one remarkable night, A kiss you gave, the face you made, You now linger, in me forever. Song: Angie Baby - Helen Reddy Date: 05/01/2019 Musical Inspiration Contest Sponsored by Joseph May
