Limbo Tanks

People don't want to help people like us
Thousands screaming
In stillness and crowded minds
Too pure a place for such a vacuum

Locked in the limbo tanks
Drugged like an animal for safety
Only we go nowhere but inside
Into another, still, lifeless room

With other neatly stacked humans
In pyjamas and iconic like toys
Teddy bears like candy for company
Child like screams, mad people's noise

Mummies come to visit
So classically british
Ignorance seeps from every orafice
She peels the patient's fruit.
