Lily of the Valley

A woodland beauty lures with teary eyes
Her scented sweetness lingers in the air,
Conceals a blemish under virgin guise
A woodland beauty lures with teary eyes
Like Eve bemoans her loss of paradise.
She flaunts aesthetics with a flare to dare.
A woodland beauty lures with teary eyes,
Her scented sweetness lingers in the air.

Thank you very much, Susan. I don't usually insert notes, but in this case I felt they were necessary because we readers often miss out on what the writer actually has in mind. ~ Warm regards & Hugs // paul

May is my birth month Paul and so of course I love the lily of the valley. They are such a delicate flower with a lovely scent. I appreciate your information about Eve's tears which I did not know. This is outstanding Paul! Best for a high placement my friend. I have only written one, ever, for this contest. It is a difficult challenging form for me. : ) xxoo
