Lily Amoung Thorns

"Like a lily among thorns,
so is my darling among the maidens"
How is there so much meaning,
in such a few amount of words?

Can a simple verse truly set you free?
Can it give you purpose and strength,
and truly make a young girl believe in her own beauty?
Needing nobody else to do so?

How can it give you the strength to walk:
Strong, independent, with your head held high
Drawing the attention of others
And leading other young ladies down that path

What girl doesn't dream of beauty, radiance, and leadership
To be independent and find happiness in herself
And to be able to live life without fear
That's what we all strive to be

( "Like a lily among thorns, so is my darling among the maidens" Song of Solomon 2:4)
