LILITH AND EVE

Conceived in a lab
Born of spirit
All instruction
To always fear it

She stood up
She broke free
She gave up all
For equality

Punishment followed
Barren to bear
Stories and lies
Put her in the air

Another was made
Questions brought sight
She drew near
What was dark, now brought light

Trauma followed
Splintering mind and soul
But her thinking parts scattered
Til they could be made whole

After many lifetimes
Lilith emerged on a throne
She casts her out
But refused the seat as her own

As the cosmos collided
They saw each other's plight
Eve, mother of all living
Lilith, woman of the night

Being forced to lie down
And endure the push of power
Revealed their sovereignty
In this critical hour

They are none of who they were
No true word has ever been spoken
Their stories of existence
Are masculinity's token

.....to know LEAVE
