Like You Do

I call you for back up
When the odds against me stack up

Like you do
Make everything clear and pure
Just let me know
When you feel the flow
Which direction heaven faces
Like you do everything I treasure

Like you do, make the old new
Like you do, heal the wounds healed
Like you do, cold wind warm breeze
I knew it could only be, like you do

Hang onto a dream like a picture hangs on the wall
Hang onto a dream like a train hangs by the rails
You know I like you in like you do
How can it be so impossible to choose
Advantages are never ending
When your not suffocating choices and not letting then blending

Like you do, like you knew
What effect you could have in my life
I feel like I now have to live twice
Put the afterlife on ice
Like you do, taking me through the pain you shine never alone

Like you do, I shine the good news
Around to those in need
Of something inspiring to read
You could bring the world to an end
Just by turning the light off in your mind
Just by turning the love off in your heart

Like you do, make the old new
Like you do, heal the wounds healed
Like you do, cold wind warm breeze
I knew it could only be, like you do

My back is sometimes turned
Like you do, got it covered
