The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

still running deep:

like the calm before the storm:

like glittering veins of fool's gold,

a mirage beneath the desert sun:

friendship, camaraderie,

only politics-deep,

only religion-deep.

Thanks again, Maureen. And forgive me: I accidentally deleted your first comment on my poem here; I'm not very good at computer skills. So I posted my first reply to you where your "Big Top Polka Dots" has been published in Poetry Soup. Peace, Gary

Thanks for the feedback, Heidi, and for your, to name but one of your poems, beautifully lyric, philosophical "There for you to see". Peace, Gary
