Like the Sun I Smile
every beautiful word you write
puts a glowing smile on my face
each word ill be thinking about tonight
ill remember your face
each and every piece of my heart
has something to say
about such a beautiful person
that I found this day
a part of my soul
belongs to a boy
an angel from god
he'll never be a toy
and if he ever doubts
what he is to me
than let me carve it into a sacred tree
a beautiful soul
came to my mind
a beautiful heart
that understood mine
something that happened
in just one day
a connection
that will never fray
a savior so to say
a life jacket in every way
he patched the whole in my sinking ship
he takes the pout away from my lips
and like the sun
behind the clouds
a smile brightens
and slowly comes out
