Like Minded Folk

UPON THE WILLOW TREES
THE LIGHT BENDED TO SHINE
IT CAUSED THE NIGHT TO BE
ILLUMINATED BY WHATS SPEAKS OF KIND
IT SHIMMERED IN IT'S OBULANCE
AND SPOOKED AH-MANY MEN
THEY DRANK IN THE DIMMEST
BEFORE THE MORNING WOULD BEGAN
SOPHISTICATED THEY FOUND US
AS WE WERE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT
THE PRECIOUS NEED FOR LOVE
WE HELD EACH OTHER TIGHT
THEY SAW NOT OUR SECRET THINGS
AS WE STOOD REAL CLOSE
DEVOTED IN OUR LOVE MAKING SCHEME
WE LOVED EACH OTHER MOST
CONGRUENT IN OUR BANDING
WE WERE HARMONY IN PERFECT TUNE
THE EVENINGS OF FALL
THE CRISP CHILLY WIND
WE'LL MARRY BENEATH A HARVEST MOON
