Like Me'As I Am

I was as thin as air
when you so called
say you
love me
blowing threw your heart
like grass oh
so lovely

i was that pen
making your thoughts clear
connected each part

apparently between
the sheets and the bed
you forgot who i was

after the storm was gone
you came to your senses

returned to me
with late attendences
i love you with no exception
but you had gratitude
love me as me
flexible and caring
