Like Life

There is a little truth
In every allegory,
So do not be confused
When reading any story.

Is life just like a book?
A mountain or a race?
A game? A child’s look?
A path? Maybe a chain?
Perhaps it is a sea?
A household or war?
Or maybe all of these
Unite to something more.

There is a little truth
In each of these analogies,
And If not real, then they are true,
And truth that life is… all of these.
