Like An Empty Cup

LIKE AN EMPTY CUP

Like an empty cup,
Swallows everything.
Whether a dirty teardrop,
Or a blissful feeling.

Like an empty cup,
Open to everything.
It doesn’t stop,
Patiently waiting.

Like an empty cup,
Stores everything.
From faded scraps,
To colorful endings.

Like an empty cup,
Limitations for everything.
Excess flows from the top,
Once filled, no space for anything.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
