Like a Spook-House

Kids peer in the room like it's a spook-house
   They fidget with their supplies
      ~ Is the new teacher mean

I heard it was the other way around... the teacher was the one who was scared. Or is that just highschool? LOL

Well, today probably all the teachers in all the schools are at least somewhat scared... I was writing about elementary school 'back in the day' when teachers had nothing to be scared of (that I knew about, at least). :) gw

Oh how I wondered about that back in the day!! But it seemed I was always wrong all my teachers were pretty cool!

Yes. We were so fearful that the teacher would be mean. Seems a little ridiculous in hindsight, but it's very, very real at the time. Thanks for the feedback and the remembranve, Bobby. ~ gw
