Like a rising sun
Bringing warmth and light into the world
You have come to me
Like a rising sun
The dawning of a new day
So the bud may bloom into a blossoming display.
Like a rising sun
Waking that which has been asleep
In the dark wandering aimlessly
Like a rising sun
Bringing life to the seed
Sprouting into what was meant to be.
Like a rising sun
The fruit of our labor
Ripening to full maturity
Like a rising sun
Let your light shine through me
