Like a Flower
My Life like a flower
blossoming in the sunlight
burst of golden love
as gentle as opening petals
of a spring rebirth
quenched in morning dew
My blood flows green
as the leaves on the tree
I come from the earth
as free as a sky filled with branches
like fingers gripping the skies
My soul flies through to the edge of the atmosphere
beyond outward into the endlessness of space
Wings opening to soar and the harshness on no one
clips feathers in freedom of Spirit.
