Like a Flower

My Life like a flower blossoming in the sunlight burst of golden love as gentle as opening petals of a spring rebirth quenched in morning dew My blood flows green as the leaves on the tree I come from the earth as free as a sky filled with branches like fingers gripping the skies My soul flies through to the edge of the atmosphere beyond outward into the endlessness of space Wings opening to soar and the harshness on no one clips feathers in freedom of Spirit. Love the imagery: as free as a sky filled with branches like fingers gripping the skies

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The Lord's blessings be with you.
