Lightingale

How come you're so indifferent? My opinions sting my noggin with discontent Don't you ever feel overwhelmed with the songs on the radio? Well, no words can describe this feeling I feel...yeah nobody will know Oh lightingale, you were once from the dark I keep hearing that songbird, that beautiful lark You were my freedom park My shelter, my ark Until you devoured me like an insidious shark Then, that's when things fell apart It was because of us from the start You're on the other side You haven't heard my cry, you lied to me...now I need a cave to hide I'm twisting and turning in this rapid ride and swallowed up in a traumatizing tide I cried for the death of yesterday's tomorrow - your hello got goodbyed Oh, I see a Glimpse of you in the cracked mirror before me... A glimpse of the angelic, sly, gracious evermore...her...I clearly see her beauty Her yellow shadow blends in with my blue hue She helped me find my other missing shoe Oh lightingale, you were once from the dark I keep hearing that songbird, that beautiful lark You were my freedom park My shelter, my ark Until you devoured me like an insidious shark Then, that's when things fell apart It was because of us from the start You're on the other side You haven't heard my cry, you lied to me...now I need a cave to hide I'm twisting and turning in this rapid ride and swallowed up in a traumatizing tide I cried for the death of yesterday's tomorrow - your hello got goodbyed Out of the Orange, She saw me rearrange The photographs of her and I in bliss town We were wearing that familiar upside down frown And the crown cleverly crafted on our head...our shimmering souls shown Never unknown...You were gone when I was alone Until you began answering the phone Oh lightingale, you were once from the dark I keep hearing that songbird, that beautiful lark You were my freedom park My shelter, my ark Until you devoured me like an insidious shark Then, that's when things fell apart It was because of us from the start You're on the other side You haven't heard my cry, you lied to me...now I need a cave to hide I'm twisting and turning in this rapid ride and swallowed up in a traumatizing tide I cried for the death of yesterday's tomorrow - your hello got goodbyed You're always on my mind...on my mind... Oh, now it's only you and I...I'm pretty sure you're my fantastic find We will be together forever...I won't leave you behind Just let time unwind for a time and stay with me for eternity if you don't mind...the sun has already shined and the coal is already mined Oh lightingale, you were once from the dark I keep hearing that songbird, that beautiful lark You were my freedom park My shelter, my ark Until you devoured me like an insidious shark Then, that's when things fell apart It was because of us from the start You're on the other side You haven't heard my cry, you lied to me...now I need a cave to hide I'm twisting and turning in this rapid ride and swallowed up in a traumatizing tide I cried for the death of yesterday's tomorrow - your hello got goodbyed Oh how priceless you are You are bramazing - what can I say? Have I been led astray? Am I okay? Okay... Maybe I've gone heads over flipflops over you, but that was yesterday Hey, don't say another word You're making me look absurd I know I'm a foolish boy, insanely in love, But you are my one and only Snow White dove You got my boy hormones running wild You can call me your wild child but I'll stay cuddly and mild Oh lightingale, you were once from the dark I keep hearing that songbird, that beautiful lark You were my freedom park My shelter, my ark Until you devoured me like an insidious shark Then, that's when things fell apart It was because of us from the start You're on the other side You haven't heard my cry, you lied to me...now I need a cave to hide I'm twisting and turning in this rapid ride and swallowed up in a traumatizing tide I cried for the death of yesterday's tomorrow - your hello got goodbyed I am a worthless widower with a permanent scar You are my vibrant star that I welcome night after night and day after day Was doused in dismay, but I was born in the brink of May By the way... I want you to stay by my side, Angel of mine I want to say that you're something else beyond fine Oh lightingale, you were once from the dark I keep hearing that songbird, that beautiful lark You were my freedom park My shelter, my ark Until you devoured me like an insidious shark Then, that's when things fell apart It was because of us from the start You're on the other side You haven't heard my cry, you lied to me...now I need a cave to hide I'm twisting and turning in this rapid ride and swallowed up in a traumatizing tide I cried for the death of yesterday's tomorrow - your hello got goodbyed I know I was thief that stole your heart I was heartless, but I promise not to break you apart I don't know what I speak of sometimes Sometimes, I just stop and listen to the bell chimes, counting all my mindless crimes...slipping outta my pocket like rusty dimes in such poor, poor times... Wealthy with earnest humility and extreme passion frankly Crawling in my shell of emotions so lonely
