Lighting of Poverty

The dilemma of unfolded experience Thief of the universal peace Thunder storm that terrifies the universe You are the creature that lives invisibly within The tremendous bug that bugs the planet earth Uncomfortable but certainly portable to carry Possibly replaceable but probable attachable So full of anguish yet deliberately hangs around So filled with anxiety and pride to suffocate Deteriorates as you creep to follow those who are less privileged You are the burning platonic for weak souls to rise above you You sabotage the plans of those who dreams to success By whispering the soft melody of disadvantage in them You are extremely attainable in disable minds and piled with disability to deny the disadvantages to prosper How shine so bright when struck down the population! How deep you slice down the little hopes in those who fight to survive! Nations are trying with no luck to command you Human becomes foreigners in their own lands because of you! They roam illegally in hope to chase you No boarder is tight enough to stop their desperate search of any weapon that can destroy you! Countries turn to be enemies when you whisper Your existence cause nothing but brutal attack across the continent Brothers and sisters are rebellious in fight to kill you They fail to recognize one’s appearance when you take over Havoc is the best you can cause between them Chaos is the worst you expect to see from them Some are deaf in their sense of hearing While some are blind without losing their sights Some are crippled in their healthy conditions While some are dumb because you took away the best words in their mouth and leave them speechless You chained them and held them hostage mercilessly World is fertile but you turned it fatal Earth is productive yet you marked it barren Confusing is your collision that causes prolusion in us Your dimension pours nothing but delusion wherever you go! Our conclusion is your proudly high discretion! Poverty! How manipulative is your shameless existence! Kids grows to become gangsters While adults are stuck in jails for armed robberies Workers and helpers turned to be fraudsters Hence leaders shows no remorse when stealing from Their own communities! Like your name you povertize even the minds of those whom we regard as our only hope! With hunger you strangle the mindsets that are impregnated with entrepreneurial ideas Those who are about to give birth with multiple talents are weakened by your presence. Greediness is one of your sharp objects you use for your selfish attention! You pitch nothing but selfish thoughts amongst us Your high appreciation is being feared You often bounce back when you are exiled The only weapon that wins you is something that turns one flesh against another I won’t empathize with you since you know no sympathy towards others!

Your dog Frankie sounds delightful, and I am sure you are his best friend too, and probably the only one. "we love just going here and there" so true with a dog.

Optimism at its best in this poem. It reminds me of a true love story in my own family, Melissa. When the time was not right, it did not work out, but it has now.

I love the way you draw in the reader in a confidential way with (meander is a funny word). This was a thrill to read, Larry.

A beautiful portrayal of pain. This reminds me of the perils of falling in love, especially at a tender age.
