Lighthouse

Lighthouse beckons to the waves What souls do you bring today Shine your light for them to see That your saving light will set them free Show them lighthouse your rocky shore Turn them away from Death's door Bring them safely to Harbor's path And save them from wave's angry wrath Bring me waves those lost at sea Follow my light to Land's safety Standing tall on Seashore's fright Lighting the way on this moonless night Lighthouse Poetry Contest Sponsored by Eve Roper 12/17/18

G'day Timothy … had a friend who was a lighthouse keeper. Plenty of stories about a lonely life - thanks Timothy - Lindsay
