Lightbright
Like pegs in a light bright
Stars dot the sky of night
With every twinkling wink
I am going to stop to think
Pondering inside their thrill
Wondering likely, if you will
See their wondrous beauty
That unfolds from you to me
For I see you in the here now
Incredibly, I can not disavow
How are you so enchanting
Every thought is recanting
Of you and I all tangled up
It's so perfect yet so abrupt
I will wake up to you at sunrise
Love never a meaningless prize
You're an incredible vision to me
Of what that bright light ought to be
I see it in your most restful slumber
Within our waking memories number
We have moments of such incredible care
A connection we both work to build and share
