Light of My Life
I tremble at the touch of your sweet tender and loving touch
When I look into those loving eyes
I realize just how lucky I am
You have shown me love like I have never known before
There is nothing in this world I would not do for you
I had almost given up hope
Of having someone of my own to love me
Then you entered into my world
You took this empty shell of a person
And made me whole
I never would have dreamed for someone like you
I could not have asked for anything more
Every day I thank the Lord above for sending you to me
The first time we held each other close
I knew that this was real
I wake each morning knowing and feeling your love
I love you more with each passing day
As the years pass by
There will be many tears and sorrows
Many ups and downs
But I know for sure what ever happens
I will have you standing there beside me
Our hair will turn grey
We will have grown old
But our love will remain strong and true
